<aside> 📢 Please note: As of mid-May 2024, we are upgrading the Navigator, and many of the screenshots in this documentation are outdated. While many screen layouts have changed, all old functionality is present, along with new functionality like improved searching. We expect to have the documentation updated in the next few months.

We appreciate your interest in a Wayferry client RFP.

We view our job as a marriage counselor between you and the software buyer. All three parties want the relationship to work. A considerable part of our work is helping clients discover their real requirements. These requirements are used to select the software, set buyer expectations, manage the implementation, and run the User Acceptance Tests before going live. This explains why we put such an emphasis on detailed requirements.

The Demo RFP

As the name suggests, the Demo RFP contains the same requirements as the demo. The Demo RFP reduces the number of RFP requirements by about 95%.

Responding to an RFP

<aside> 💡 Several parties, like system integrators, partners, or software vendors themselves, could respond to an RFP. To be consistent, we call all these parties “RFP Responders” because it describes what they do.

RFP responders use the Wayferry Navigator to respond to RFPs. We do not export requirements to spreadsheets that must be filled out and returned.

RFP accuracy

Please be accurate when rating your software against RFP requirements. If your software is selected by our client:

<aside> đź’ˇ Wayferry requirements describe WHAT the software should do to create value for the buyer. Where possible, they do not describe HOW your software must do the WHAT; that is up to the software developers.
